returns – as the nature of our service is unique, all sales are final. we do not accept any refund requests or exchanges. zarefa is not liable for any items that are lost, stolen or damaged once it leaves our possession. all orders in the UK are shipped 24H priority with tracking or hand delivered via white glove couriers within london. if an item is lost or stolen we would advise that the client file a claim directly with the courier service using the information provided.

shipping – all bespoke quotes will contain shipping included domestic or international, the quotes are determined by item size, type, fragility and characteristics. artwork is usually posted through parcel force but DHL may also be used. for international orders, we include custom fees and taxes however, customers are responsible for any additional taxes or handling fees that may apply after initial shipping. all items will be insured with the courier up to their maximum [subject to 48h option]
privacy – when visiting our website, placing an order all information such as name, shipping address, billing details, email address and phone number are stored with us to help arrange shipping and update you on tracking information.
process for private commissions – brief consultation outlining the scope of work & its complexity the details of which will be used to formulate a quote.
we will request any pictures to help us understand the colours, style, and sizing of the space so that we can recommend you the best way forward. once the details have been finalised, an e-mail summary will be sent, this is where we will require 50% paid upfront. once payment is confirmed the work commences. the work can take anywhere from 2 weeks – 8 weeks depending on any additional adjustments mentioned. throughout the process, we will be sharing photos and video updates & we require client feedback so it can be incorporated into the work. once the work is at its final stage we will order in your frame and take your final payment [the difference remaining]. bespoke commissions are not refundable.
